when your greyhound escapes

This is very important, and if you havent gotten it, get it together, when your dog is out, you will not have time................

  1. ALWAYS have your correct information on your dogs collar and keep it on them, if you do not hve a CFGA tag, pick one up at the kennel

  2. If your grey gets away and out of your sight, call me FAST, we will help you........

  3. if your greyhound is still in your sight, get down on the ground and act like you are playing, they will most likely come to you and see what you are doing,DO NOT CHASE THEM, can you run 45 m.p.h?

  4. keep in your car, flyers with your information on it, where you live and several contact numbers, a discription of your dogs. make a blank line for where he or she was last seen, you vets name and number. Tape to put up the flyers..........a squaker or toy, and bowl for water. an extra lead and collar.

  5. call animal control ASAP and the police department in your area. Greyounds most likely hit the pavement and run............ If you travel with your pet, PLEASE have your cell phone on the collar.

  6. I myself have had 12 out at one time in 5 o'clok traffic.Duke power left the gate open. if you have a fenced yard, keep a lock on it................the power people,fed-X children will leave your gate open
